Einen emotionalen Ort, für die Menschen aus dem Quartier und darüber hinaus, zu schaffen, welcher zu einem Lebens- und Begegnungsraum wird, ist unser Ziel. Ein neuer Ort in der Stadt, mit einer hohen Identifikationskraft und einer positiven Energie, welche sich aus dem Gleichgewicht von Ökonomie und sozialer Verantwortung entwickelt.
Die neue Stadtqualität entwickelt sich in den Aussenräumen zwischen den Baukörpern, als erweitertem Wohnraum, als Platz für Begegnungen und sozialen Austausch diverser Anspruchsgruppen. Freiraumabfolgen und Raumüberlagerungen, unterstützt durch die Gebäudezäsuren, erzeugen die Dramaturgie des Aussenraums.
Ein Stück Natur in der Stadt und im Quartier, ein Spiegel der ursprünglichen Nutzung als Freizeitgartenanlage und somit ein Zeuge der Arealtransformation.
Verwoben in der übergeordnete Stadtstruktur zeigt sich das Quartier selbstbewusst und zugleich offen für alle. Getragen wird diese Offenheit durch einen weichen Übergang im Osten, Welcher durch einen Vernetzungskorridor – ausgebildet als Naturschonzone – entlang des Gleisbogens entsteht. Ein Netz von „Schleichwegen“ durch das Quartier unterstützt dies und steht für Durchlässigkeit, auch für die Durchlässigkeit unserer Gesellschaft im Sinne der Migration.
Our goal is to create an emotional place for people from the neighborhood and beyond, which becomes a place to live and meet. A new place in the city, with a high identification power and positive energy, which develops from the balance between economy and social responsibility.
The new quality of the city develops in the outdoor spaces between the buildings, as extended living space, as a place for encounters and social exchange between various stakeholder groups. Open space sequences and space overlays, supported by the building caesuras, create the dramaturgy of the outdoor space.
A piece of nature in the city and in the district, a reflection of the original use as a leisure garden and thus a witness to the transformation of the area.
Interwoven into the overarching urban structure, the quarter is self-confident and at the same time open to everyone. This openness is supported by a soft transition in the east, which is created by a networking corridor - designed as a nature conservation zone - along the curve of the track. A network of "secret paths" through the quarter supports this and stands for permeability, also for the permeability of our society in terms of migration.
