With its impressive cubature, the listed building in Munich am Stachus has shaped the urban development image of the square since 1951. Due to defective anchoring of the stone slabs, complete dismantling was necessary. As part of this, an energy-related renovation was also carried out.

After careful planning, the existing facade was removed panel by panel, checked, measured and pre-sorted for reinstallation if it was sufficiently thick. All panels are attached to the base structure with stainless steel anchors in accordance with the latest requirements. The windows were replaced with energy-optimized windows. These are based on the previous state in terms of color and design. The renewed facade is very close to the previous condition.
