As up-and-coming startups continue to expand their presence in the eastern part of Berlin, the Signa Group is actively redeveloping the former Zentrum department store.

MICHELGROUP has crafted and planned a distinctive mixed-use concept in the form of a vertical campus. Spanning 53,300 square meters, the development seamlessly combines living and working spaces, featuring a modern housing village of temporary living units on the penthouse level. The central "canyon" design concept maximizes daylight penetration, thereby illuminating and energizing the building's interior. The quality of the living and working environments is further enhanced by additional amenities such as a rooftop garden and retail outlets for daily essentials. The design exudes a refreshing, youthful energy, truly expressing the meaning of "Open Space Open Mind".
