Michelgroup provided strategic consulting services for the redevelopment of the 42,000-square-meter Konnex building in Baden, Switzerland. The property owner commissioned Michelgroup to develop a concept that would transform the complex from a single-tenant into a multi-tenant building. The new and forward-thinking "City-in-a-City" concept repositions Konnex to embrace the urban business and community lifestyle and ensures that mixed-use spaces will have a lasting impact in an ever-evolving market.

The Konnex building is closely linked to Baden's rich and vibrant history and located on the original site of the Brown, Boveri & Cie (BBC/ABB) corporation, which developed the innovative industrial district in the late 19th century. With the support of the City of Baden, Konnex has the opportunity to play a key role in the revitalization of the industrial district Baden-Nord and its regeneration as part of a new urban lifestyle.
